NAPERVILLE September 12, 2016 Nearly a dozen DuPage Credit Union Team Members and their families took part in the American Cancer Societys I-88 Corporate Relay for Life August 19th in Lisle; raising over $7,000 in donations and awareness for this worthwhile cause.
Throughout the year, Team Members raised funds through personal fundraising efforts and the sales of luminaire, jewelry and pastries.� DuPage Credit Union Members contributed by donating their Visa Credit Card Rewards Points and making monetary donations online and at Branch Offices. Their combined efforts helped the Credit Union reach the Gold Fundraising Level.
"Were excited we were able to raise over seven thousand dollars to support the American Cancer Society in their mission to find a cure," said Gail Mosher, Vice President of Lending.
To help raise additional funds for the Corporate Relay event, Credit Union Team Members donated a framed piece of art created by their children entitled "These Hands are Here to Comfort You", which was raffled off during the Relay.
The I-88 Corporate Relay for Life raised over $20,000 this year for the American Cancer Society.
