Service Credit Union Supports Local University

(September 8, 2016) Service Credit Union celebrated the opening of its new Wildcat Stadium branch at the University of New Hampshire with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, September 8th. University, state and credit union representatives attended the event, marking Service Credit Unions first branch on a college campus and a continuing great partnership with Wildcat Athletics. "We look forward to serving many new members from the university and this community who will enjoy the personal member service and state-of-the-art mobile and online convenience that Service Credit Union offers," said David Hanchett, Board of Directors Chair at Service Credit Union. "That goal is only possible through the outstanding people here at the University of New Hampshire." The branch officially opened its doors on August 22nd and is a full-service location offering loans, certificates, checking, savings and other financial products and services. "We found a great relationship with Service Credit Union. We could have not have done this without them," said Marty Scarano, Director of Wildcat Athletics. "They are a true supporter of ours and we truly expect many great years ahead." State Senator Martha Fuller-Clarke also applauded Service Credit Unions charitable giving to communities and military in the areas. The Wildcat Stadium branch, located at 155 Main Street in Durham, is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. with a 24/7 ATM. Other Service Credit Union ATMs are already at the Field House and Whittemore Center. Besides the branch, the Wildcat Stadium is home to the Service Credit Union Victory Club which is a premium stadium club seating area overlooking the Wildcat football field. In 2014, Service Credit Union and University of New Hampshire Wildcat Athletics announced a 10-year partnership. The credit union is the official debit card provider of the UNH Wildcats and was the first corporation to establish an endowed athletic scholarship fund, the Service Credit Wildcat Athletic Scholarship Fund, at the University of New Hampshire. The Service Credit Union Wildcat Branch will have free pizza from the Durham House of Pizza and giveaways on Fridays. Members and nonmembers are invited to the branch.
