SPIRE Credit Union Cleans Up Local Parks

CaptureMaple Grove, MN - Employees in SPIRE Credit Unions Maple Grove branch recently began a partnership with the City of Maple Grove Parks and Recreation Board.� Twice per year they will help clean up different areas within the Parks and Recreation system. Earlier this year, Kelly Vold, SPIRE Maple Grove Branch Manager, and her team brainstormed volunteering ideas.� "We discussed how nice it would be to do something new to give back to our community, and the park cleanup project is something we came across after researching the parks and recreation website," says Vold, "This is our first year, and we are having a lot of fun getting together as a team to help keep our parks beautiful.� We even ran into some SPIRE members as we were cleaning up the trail!" SPIRE Credit Union has a long-standing commitment to giving back.� Recently SPIRE was honored with the Dora Maxwell Award for social responsibility for the fourth consecutive year which recognizes credit unions for activities that benefit their community.
