Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union Celebrates Grand Opening with Free Ice Cream and Prizes for Community
August 31, 2016
LOWELL Jeanne DArc Credit Union is excited to announce that the renovations to their Chelmsford Branch are now complete. The remodeled branch, located at 245 Chelmsford Street, offers 43 new parking spaces, a walk-up ATM, better traffic flow and an updated branch design.
"We are extremely pleased and excited with the results of the renovation project," said Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Office of Jeanne DArc Credit Union. "The changes have already shown improvements in the experience members have when they visit the Chelmsford Branch. We are so thankful for their patience throughout the entire project."
Jeanne DArc Credit Union celebrated the Chelmsford Branch Grand Reopening on August 23, 2016 with a Chelmsford Ginger Ale give-a-away, free ice cream from a Dylan & Petes Ice Cream truck and some cash prizes.
The renovations began in early March with a complete demolition of the adjacent building, which was previously the Credit Unions loan center. That property is now a new entry point where members can enter the expanded parking lot as well as the drive-up ATM and teller lanes. In addition, a second exit was created to provide better traffic flow for members leaving the drive up lanes.
The yellow plastic siding that covered the entire building was replaced with a deep shade of blue and beautifully installed stone. When members enter the branch lobby, they are greeted by a modern, bright and more open atmosphere and can sit in the designated seating area, a feature the previous branch lacked. Artwork from local artists, Janet Lambert Moore, Don Ouellette and Adrien Lambert, hang along the lobby and office walls. Members also now have access to a new 24-hour walk-up ATM in the entrance area.
The Credit Union is planning to start landscaping in September, after the heat of the summer decreases and before the cold temperatures arrive.
