The employees of NuVision Federal Credit Union of Huntington Beach, CA have been personally involved in supporting numerous charitable activities and events in recent months, including: the Leukemia & Lymphoma Societys 2012 "Light the Night" event at Angel Stadium; the 2012 CHOC "Walk in the Park" at Disneyland Resort; adopting military families for Thanksgiving through the USAR 79th SSC, HHD National Guard & Reserves Family Services Center; hosting collection sites for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys For Tots program; fulfilling holiday wish lists for local military families through Spouse2Spouse; donations to Project Self Sufficiency and The California Paralyzed Veterans Association; and more.
NuVision Federal Credit Unions LJ Tarman, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations, has received special recognition from the United States Congress for her outstanding leadership and community relations outreach on behalf of the public credit union.� NuVision was also recognized for the many charitable contributions it has made to the communities it serves throughout Southern California and Arizona.
On behalf of the United States Congress, Chris Palmer, Deputy District Director for U.S. Congressman John Campbell (CA-48), presented an official Congressional Certificate of Recognition to Tarman at NuVisions Huntington Beach, Calif. headquarters.� "It is an honor to be recognized for something we love doing," said Tarman.� "NuVision has an enthusiastic team that enjoys giving back to the communities we serve."
