Chicago - Random Act of KindnessBannockburn (IL) On Friday, August 19th, employees from GLCUs Chicago office surprised their charismatic Security Guard, Brenda Ruiz, with an Edible Arrangement bouquet and a $100 Visa gift card! For several years, Ruiz has been a beloved Security Guard for the AT&T building in which GLCU is located (225 W. Randolph St., Chicago, IL). When Marilyn Kolodziej, GLCUs Chicago Branch Manager, was asked about this act of kindness she stated, "Ever since we moved into this building Brenda has been a big promoter of the credit union. Not only is she a member, but she looks out for us too. If she hears something coming from our lobby area that sounds suspicious to her she will give us a call to make sure everything is ok.It felt good to let her know how much we appreciate her."
