Andrews Federal Credit Union Donates $1,000 to Purchase Uniforms for Children in Need

CaptureSUITLAND, MD (August 24, 2016) Andrews Federal Credit Union recently donated $1,000 to purchase school uniforms for children in need at Anita J. Turner Elementary School in Washington, DC. Turner is located in a challenging neighborhood in the Congress Heights section of the nations capital. Ninety- nine percent of its students qualify for free and reduced- price lunch. "We take extreme pride in supporting our community," said Jasmine Lyle, Henson Ridge Branch Manager. "We love to see each student start their year off looking great, and with great confidence." Andrews Federals Oma George, Chief Retail Officer and Henson Ridge Branch Manager, Jasmine Lyle, present a check to Turner Elementary School President, Eric Bethel to purchase school uniforms.
