Diamond Credit Union Donates School Supplies to Local United Way Organizations
August 27, 2016
For the sixth consecutive year, Diamond Credit Union employees were given the opportunity to donate school supplies to help ensure that every local student can start the school year off right, regardless of their family"s financial situation. Team Diamond answered the call enthusiastically by donating several boxes worth of new school supplies. In addition to employee support, Diamond"s partners at Heartland/EDGE Associates and Guardian Land Transfer made a large donation.
On Wednesday, August 17, Diamond employees delivered the supplies to two United Way organizations: Boyertown Area Multi-Service and the Pottstown Family Center. These organizations will provide the supplies to local students. Diamond"s Human Resources Associate, Monica McCoach, has organized the School Supply Drive for the past three years. "I"m so thankful to work with so many giving individuals who are happy to help out the local community," said McCoach.
The Pottstown Family Center and Boyertown Area Multi-Service are organizations offering a variety of programs for families, children, and senior citizens. We encourage everyone to check out these incredible organizations and participate in their programs or volunteer your time.
Giving local students the tools they need to succeed&That"s younity.
