WyHyWyHy Federal Credit Union of Cheyenne, WY recently presented a $380 donation to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. The funds were contributed by WyHys employees through a monthly "Clothing for a Cause" event. Started in 2009, "Clothing for a Cause" days allow employees to wear casual clothes to work in place of their business attire for a five dollar donation. Selecting St. Judes as the recipient of the donation was the suggestion of WyHy Casper employee Jennifer Bowden, "I chose St. Judes simply because Im a mother. I know that St. Judes works with children and they are also involved with doing medical research into curing childhood diseases. I also know that they dont discriminate based on a patients financial means and to me that is huge because it just seems like a lot of times the people who have the greatest need dont necessarily have the financial capability to pay." For more information on St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital you can visit www.stjude.org. "WyHy works to provide superior support, not just to our members, but to the entire communities that we serve," says William N. Willingham III, President and CEO of WyHy Federal Credit Union, "by engaging our employees in events like Clothing for a Cause' days we hope to inspire a culture of giving. We look forward to making future donations to other organizations."
