Indiana Members Credit Union Foundation Awards $8,500 in Community Grants

1(Indianapolis, IN)� Indiana Members Foundation, the charitable arm of Indiana Members Credit Union, recently awarded $8,500 in grants through its Joan Wolfe Legacy Grant Program to four organizations.� Joan Wolfe worked for Indiana Members Credit Union for 27 years and was a huge supporter of Indiana Members Foundation's mission to provide school children with the necessities essential for learning and succeeding in their education.� Joan lost her fight with Cancer in March of 2013, but her fight to help children succeed continues with the Joan Wolfe Legacy Grant Program. The purpose of the Joan Wolfe Legacy Grant Program is to assist schools and community organizations that help children to achieve success in learning.� The 2016 grants were awarded to the following organizations during a luncheon hosted at IMCU"s headquarters on Tuesday, July 26, 2016:
  • Christel House Academy, Inc- $1,000
  • Playworks Indiana- $2,500
  • Riley Children"s Foundation- $2,500
  • Visually Impaired Preschool Services, VIPS Indiana- $2,500
The funding for the grants comes from the Foundations fundraising efforts.� Applications�are accepted and reviewed April 15 May 31 and awarded the 2nd Friday in July.
