Aberdeen Federal Credit Union presented the fourth annual Rising Star Competition on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the Brown County Fair. A line up of sixteen talented finalists competed for cash prizes totaling $2,500. Nearly 1,500 spectators were packed into the event to cheer on the finalists as they competed for the top four places.
The 2016 Rising Star placers are as follows:
First place ($1,000): Mikayla Lynn
Second place ($750): Taylor Wall
Third place ($500): Audrey Wanner
Fourth place ($250): Max Langbehn

The Rising Star Competition provides a great family friendly event, showcasing some of our region"s finest talent.
