Bethpage, NY August 10, 2016 Gerard Schmitt, Vice President of Marketing for Bethpage Federal Credit Union, was honored recently by the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Long Island, where Gerard is vice chair of the organization"s Membership and Development Committee.
A board member for UCP of Long Island since 2011, Gerard was honored for his commitment, dedication, and support to the organization during its 2016 "Scramble" golf outing, held at the Nissequogue Gold Club.

Gerard has lectured as an adjunct professor at City University of New York (CUNY) and New York Institute of Technology, and is a former board member of Tomorrow"s Hope Foundation and The New York Business Marketing Association (BMA). He is a recipient of BMA"s Advertising Executive of the Year Award.
