Diamond Credit Union Awards $5,000 in Scholarships

Pottstown, PA - The Diamond Credit Union Alfred A. Panfile Memorial Scholarship recognizes students who give back to their local community through volunteerism, teamwork, and spreading goodwill. Diamond provided the criteria for the scholarship to leaders from five schools that are in close proximity to their five locations. School officials used the criteria to determine who best fulfilled the example set by Alfred A. Panfile to win one of five $1,000 scholarships.
The 2016 Alfred A. Panfile Memorial Scholarship recipients are: Boyertown High School graduate, Taylor Landis, will be attending the University of Pittsburgh; Exeter High School graduate, Natalie-Ann Yocom, will be attending Temple University; Pottstown High School graduate, Conor Benfield, will be starting off his college experience at Montgomery County Community College; Wilson High School graduate, Amanda Boyer, will be attending Lehigh University; and Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences student, Melissa Kremser, who will be using the award to help pay her nursing program tuition.
