Texas Partners FCU Hides Cash for Community Fun

The $147-million CU hid cash vouchers in camouflaged stockings throughout a park in central Texas for people to find.
Texas Partners stashed the cash on a Thursday but did not let the community know the location for the money hunt until the following Monday at 8 a.m., alerting the community via its social channels, including Facebook and Twitter, the Temple Daily Telegram said.
While not disclosing the total amount hidden, the CU hid vouchers valued from $25 to $50. One $500 cash voucher was hidden, but the person who found that money was instructed to donate it to nonprofit cause of their choice, the Temple Daily Telegram reported.
A few stockings were also hidden at several undisclosed locations in Belton and Copperas Cove, the CU said.
