Naperville - GLCU (3)Bannockburn (IL) In celebration of GLCU"s Random Act of Kindness initiative, on Tuesday, July 19th Nikki Appleyard, GLCU"s Naperville Branch Manager, and her team visited their local Ogden 6 Classic Cinema in Naperville, IL and surprised 25 movie patrons with free admission! When asked about this Random Act of Kindness Appleyard commented, "I was touched by the appreciation the recipients showed. Everyone was very happy and shocked to have GLCU pay for their movie tickets. We actually had one movie-goer tell us that we sponsor her soccer team and another patron offered to buy us popcorn as her random act of kindness to us. As a new Manager, it is a great experience to be able to give back to our community like this." All year long employees at GLCU branches are performing various random acts of kindness as a way to make a direct impact and give back to their communities.
