Credit Union Donates Over $80,000 to Arkansas Childrens Hospital Foundation

From Jacksonville, Ark:� Arkansas Federal Credit Union President/CEO Larry Biernacki presented an $80,560 check to Arkansas Childrens Hospital Foundation President Fred Scarborough at a press conference held in the main lobby of Arkansas Childrens Hospital on February 6.
Since 1998, Arkansas FCU has contributed over $680,000 to Arkansas Childrens Hospital. �The money donated by Arkansas Federal over the past four years helped fund the ENT Clinic Waiting Room, located in the new ACH South Wing.
Arkansas Federal employees and members raised $70,560 this past year through several fundraising events, including the 7th Annual Arkansas Federal Golf Classic, Painting with a Purpose, candy and cardstock sales and several Bunko Bash events.
CO-OP, the nations largest credit union-owned electronic funds transfer network and processor, contributed the additional $10,000 for Arkansas Federals fundraising efforts, through their Miracle Match program, which encourages credit unions across the United States to fundraise for their Childrens Miracle Network hospitals.
Arkansas Federal Credit Union is part of Credit Unions for Kids, a national sponsor of Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals. �Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals is a national organization dedicated to helping raise awareness and funds for its 170 member hospitals, including Arkansas Children's Hospital.
