On Wednesday, June 29 (right in the middle of its core conversion week),
Helena Community CU held a Shred-A-Thon and E-Waste Collection Day in the parking lot of their main branch. Folks could have their outdated records shredded while they watched and drop off their old electronics (computers, cell phones, printers, VCRs, TVs, microwaves, etc) to be disposed of in a responsible manner. While the final "poundage" collected hasn't been tallied yet, both Montana Records Management and Helena Industries Big Sky E-Recycle reported record collection days. What a service (and smart idea) to combine the two!
