St. Anne's Credit Union Supports United Way with $5,000 Grant

CaptureFALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS, June 21, 2016& St. Anne"s Credit Union has continued their support of the United Way of Greater New Bedford by providing the organization with a $5,000 grant, which will be reinvested into the community, helping those that need it the most. In addition to this grant, St. Anne"s supports the United Way through their annual events such as the Stamp out Hunger Food Drive and the Annual Clambake. For over 60 years, United Way of Greater New Bedford has been a leader in raising both individual and corporate investments as well as mobilizing volunteers. United Way brings together volunteers, donors, businesses and other local nonprofit organizations create the community investments that work to advance the common good. The dollars raised through our annual fundraising campaign are funneled back into the community, supporting local programs that address a wide spectrum of needs and target specific outcomes. Its service area, which has a population in excess of 197,000, includes the City of New Bedford and surrounding towns of Acushnet, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Freetown, Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester and Wareham. When you support United Way, you are investing in the community keeping neighborhoods safe, helping children & youth, and making sure everyone has access to the most basic human needs. St. Anne"s is proud to support their local communities through the United Way"s endeavors.
