Alaska USA Foundation Donates $5,000 to Local YMCA

Alaska USA Foundation YMCA donationSeattle, Washington �Alaska USA Foundation donated $5,000 to the Matt Griffin YMCA of South King County, in support of afterschool enrichment programs. The programs provide academic support, enrichment activities and much needed meals to 1,900 program participants. "The Matt Griffin YMCA takes pride in serving the most diverse zip code in the United States," said Sean Goode, Director, Youth and Family Programs, YMCA. "The Alaska USA Foundation donation will help us continue to provide high-quality academic and social support to underserved youth." Approximately 80 percent of the youth served by Matt Griffin YMCA qualify for the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program.
