Jackson, MI, June 9, 2016 Michigan Community Credit Union has been celebrating their 80
th anniversary throughout the year of 2016. There have been many events honoring this successful milestone, and the Credit Union will continue to celebrate for the remaining months of the year.
The celebration began in January, and will continue on throughout the year with Prize Patrol Days. Prize Patrol Days will happen once a month throughout 2016, and will take place at alternating branches. During these Prize Patrol Days, 80 scratch-off tickets will be given out to members; 71 of the tickets will win a limited edition 80
th anniversary mug, eight of the tickets will win a $50 VISA Gift Card, and one lucky member will win $500. To date, the Prize Patrol Days have been a success. There have been five grand prize winners who were ecstatic to have won. "It"s so much fun to watch the $500 winner scratch off their ticket. It"s almost as if they"re in shock and can"t believe they"ve won," said Spring Arbor Lead Teller, Leslie Gossett.
In chronological order, the $500 winners include Steve Barrett, Lenya Keller, Debra Hill, Tom Fehr, and Jill Chatfield. They all shared the same excitement as they left the Credit Union with an extra $500 in cash. Even though they weren"t expecting to receive this prize, they were grateful and excited to have scratched off the winning ticket. "I was incredibly shocked that I won," said February winner, Lenya Keller. "I made a trip to the Credit Union because I had taken the day off from work to prepare for my birthday celebration. It was a great day to win!"
