Alaska USA Foundation gives $20,000 to the Children"s Lunchbox

Alaska USA Foundation_Children's LunchboxAnchorage, Alaska �Alaska USA Foundation has donated $20,000 to the Children"s Lunchbox to aid in their mission to provide nutritious meals to at-risk children in safe community settings. "Thousands of Anchorage children face each day without enough to eat," said Lisa Sauder, Chief Executive, Children"s Lunchbox. "Alaska USA Foundation"s donation will help us continue to serve food to children that would otherwise not know where their next meal is coming from." The Children"s Lunchbox has a number of food service programs for children, including the Early Morning Snack Program, the Prepared Meal Program, the After School Meal Program, and the Weekend Food Program. All programs are designed to fill various food availability gaps in children"s lives.
