North Star Credit Union Awards Scholarships to High School Seniors

Cook, MN - North Star Credit Union recently awarded their scholarships to area high school seniors. The credit union has four opportunities for students to receive a $750 award. Their first scholarship is open to anyone in their field of membership--anyone who receives electric power from Lake Country Power, a relative who has an existing account with North Star Credit Union, or anyone who lives, works, volunteers, worships or attends school in District 2142.� The subsequent scholarships are open to (1) North Woods School graduating senior, (1) South Ridge School Graduating Senior, (1) Credit Union Student Intern.
North Star Credit Union offers their heartiest congratulations to Taylor Midthun-North Woods Winner, Brenna Bristol-Field of Membership Winner, Elizabeth Poskie-South Ridge Winner, and Brooke Cote-Student Intern Winner.
The North Star Credit Union recognizes students that exemplify the behaviors of young adults setting themselves up for financial and professional success. The recipients of this year's scholarships demonstrated academic excellence, leadership in their extracurricular activities, and commitment to financial health.
