Hopewell Federal Credit Union Supports American Red Cross

HEATH / NEWARK, OH June 9, 2016During the month of May, Hopewell Federal Credit Union adopted The American Red Cross of East and South Central Ohio which serves the residents of Fairfield, Fayette, Hocking, Knox, Licking, Pickaway, and Ross counties. The goal was to not only provide awareness about the impact this organization has on the community, but also to generate funds in support. The following activities were held to support these efforts: SUPPORTED WITH SALES Everyday Hero cards were sold for one dollar and displayed with the names of those who donated in both the Heath and Newark lobbies. DONATION CONTAINERS Donation containers were placed on the teller lines to collect donations for the Red Cross. SWEET TREAT Candy bars were sold with all proceeds going to the American Red Cross. JEANS DAY Hopewell staff members were invited to dress casually and pay one dollar on May 5th to support the Red Cross. BALLOON BONANZA Team members were invited to pay one dollar for a chance to pop a balloon that included fun prizes. BAKE SALE On May 20th, the staff prepared sweet treats to sell with 100% of the proceeds going to the American Red Cross. SPREAD THE WORD WITH T-SHIRTS All employees were armed with a t-shirt to wear each Friday during the month of May which included information about the Red Cross.
