Hoosier Hills CU Relay for Life Run Raises Over $4,000

BEDFORD, IN (June 6, 2016) Runners at the Hoosier Hills Credit Union Relay For Life Glow Run raised more than $4,000 as they raced for a cure for cancer. All proceeds for the event will go to the Lawrence County Relay for Life. The event was Saturday at Hoosier Hills Credit Union on Lincoln Avenue. The race began at 6:30 p.m. and ended at 10 p.m. Indiana Timing will be providing the race times for the event. The Top Three Runners:
  • First Place Sean Fleenor with a time of 19:13:01
  • Second Place Johnte Potts with a time of 21:54:02
  • Third Place Logan Quaas with a time of 24:01:08
DJ Rick St. Nick from Super Oldies WQRK 105.5 FM was at the event cheering on the runners. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement is the worlds largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. It unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all. With the support of thousands of volunteers like you, the American Cancer Society is helping save more than 500 lives a day.
