Montana - The
Midland Empire Chapter is one of the primary sponsors of this season's "Movies In The Parks," which will bring six family-friendly movies (including Cars, Finding Nemo, and Star Wars) to a big outdoor screen in six Billings parks this summer. Organized by the Billings Kiwanis Club, the events are a win-win for everyone. Families get a fun night out, six local charities (a different one for each movie) get a chance to raise money by running the concession stand, and the sponsors get some good exposure since anywhere from 300-500 people, most of them families with children, attend each of the movies. Midland Empire President Ed Gillig said the chapter was excited to be asked to sponsor. "As a chapter, we felt this was a fun, worthwhile event to help bring to the city. It's also a great group of people to let know about credit unions." The first movie -- Cars -- was screened last Friday, May 27. You can see photos at the
