First Community CU Promotes Fitness and Health in the Workplace

On Thursday, May 26, First Community Credit Union employees from Fargo and Jamestown competed in the FM Corporate Cup Competition. Employees included: Clayton Lilleby, Tony Walz, Ben Watkins, Kevin Sunde, Sean Rinkenberger, Courtney VanDyke, Cali Johnston, Bobbie Eberhardt, and Janna Bergstedt.
The competition was organized by the Fargo-Moorhead Chamber of Commerce and took place at the Minnesota State University Moorhead Campus. Over 50 teams participated in the competitions which included basketball, volleyball, an obstacle course, tug of war, cycling, ultimate Frisbee, kickball, and a Minute to Win It CEO challenge.
The purpose of the Corporate Cup is to promote community-wide interest and involvement in fitness and health activities, as well as to help companies incorporate wellness within the workplace, while having fun.
Team FCCU took 6th place out of 36 teams in the recreational division. It was a fun-filled afternoon and the team is already looking forward to competing again next year!
