CaptureJackson, MI, May 26, 2016 Michigan Community Credit Union is pleased to announce that their 2016 College Scholarships have been awarded to Heather Darby, James Darby, Kara Newton, and Zachary Schossau. The winners are selected based on their excellence in academics and outstanding community service, and each student is rewarded with a $1,000 scholarship to a college or university of their choice. Heather will be continuing her education at Cornerstone University, James will be continuing his education at Bethel College, Kara, who recently graduated from Western high school, will be attending Spring Arbor University, and Zachary, who also attends Spring Arbor University, will be continuing his education at this institution. Michigan Community Credit Unions Board of Directors, management, and staff have faith in the youth of tomorrow. In that regard, the Michigan Community Credit Union College Scholarships were developed to help local students continue their education.
