Great Lakes Credit Union Spreads Random Acts of Kindness
May 27, 2016
Bannockburn (IL) On Monday, May 17th employees from the Gurnee branch of Great Lakes Credit Union (GLCU) visited their local Einstein Bros. Bagels and performed numerous random acts of kindness! Erica Carrillo, Branch Manager, and her team purchased coffee and bagels for several customers visiting the bagel shop that morning.
All year long employees at GLCU branches will perform various random acts of kindness as a way to make a direct impact and give back to their communities.
When asked about the new initiative and her experience, Erica commented, "It was a great time. Customers were excited when they got to the register and found out we were taking care of the bill. They thought we wanted something and were happy to know that we were just there to put a smile on their faces."
