CaptureORLANDO, FL (May 25, 2016) Insight Credit Union announced that it has donated 12 printers, worth an estimated $3,000, to the Educational Foundation of Lake County. The printers will be available to teachers through Apple-Mart, a store created by the Educational Foundation of Lake County where teachers can shop for free. Each year, every new teacher in the district receives a shopping pass allowing them to shop once a month. Passes are also given to the school principals who distribute them to teachers. Apple-Marts three locations are run by a group of volunteers and stocked by donations from the community. "Insight is driven by the credit union philosophy of People Helping People and we are always considering new ways to support our partners in the community," said Eleanor Woods, vice president of information technology at Insight Credit Union. "We are thrilled that the printers will be put to good use by teachers in Lake County.
