Spokane, WA - Team Global participated in the March of Dimes, March for Babies on April 23, 2016. Team Global participated at Riverfront Park in Spokane and the GlobalVicenza branch participated in Italy.
In all, Team Global raised over $8,485 with 39 walkers, earning the distinction of being the #3 Top Corporate Team and the #4 Overall Team.
The Team raised personal donations as well as participated in team fundraising events. Jack Fallis, President and CEO of Global CU, personally donated to each walker on the team. One popular fundraising event, Baking for Babies, was held in conjunction with Sweet Frostings Blissful Bakeshop, selling cupcakes and other sweets to employees, members and the Spokane community. Other fundraising events included a Sugar and Spice Potato Bar, Books for Babies and a March of Dimes cut-out contest with Spokane Federal Credit Union.
