Great Lakes Credit Union Employees Run for A Safe Place

Bannockburn (IL) On Saturday, May 7th five Great Lakes Credit Union (GLCU) employees participated in the 4th Annual 5k EmpoweRun event located at Independence Grove Forest Preserve. This 5k directly benefited A Safe place one GLCUs 2016 Charities of Choice.
�When asked about the event, Jackie Allen, one of GLCUs employee participants commented, "The run itself was tough because it was such a windy day, but knowing I was running for a great cause made it easy. Accomplishing a 5k is nothing in comparison to the incredible transformations A Safe Place helps people make on a daily basis. I am lucky to be a part of a company that partners with this wonderful organization!"
