Sentinel Federal Credit Union Awards $2,000 in Scholarships

downloadBOX ELDER, S.D.� Sentinel Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the recipients of our 2016 Academic Scholarships. Four recipients will each receive a $500 scholarship for their academic excellence toward attending the college of their choice. The recipients include Mattisen Kelley, a freshman at the University of Sioux Falls in Sioux Falls, S.D., originally from Custer, S.D.; Hannah Kremer, a 2016 graduating Custer High School senior, from Keystone, S.D., who plans to attend South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D.; Chelsea LeBlanc, a 2016 graduating Douglas High School senior, from Ellsworth AFB, S.D., who plans to attend Black Hills State University in Spearfish, S.D.; and David McKeen, a 2016 graduating Hill City High School senior, from Rapid City, S.D., who plans to attend South Dakota State University. Nancy Ellwein, president and CEO of Sentinel Federal Credit Union, states the Credit Union, its members and staff are proud to support and award these Academic Scholarships to graduating high school seniors and college students to help defray the expense of post-high school education. "We thank everyone who helped make this investment in our youth possible." Sentinel Federal Credit Unions membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Custer, Lawrence, Meade, Pennington, Gregory, Lyman, Mellette, Todd and Tripp counties in South Dakota and their immediate family members. The Credit Union has been guarding and protecting the financial well-being of its members since 1955.
