Service Promise MOJOsGulf Coast Educators FCU hosted their sixth annual MOJO awards dinner only this time with a totally awesome 80s twist. This year was different from years past as everyone from the executive team to the front line employees dressed in their most tubular 80s outfits and celebrated sales and service excellence. Big hair, neon colors, members only jackets, and 80s music accented a night in which the credit union handed out awards to its sales and service all stars. "The credit union understands that in order to be a great organization you have to employ great people and the MOJOs are all about celebrating those people and their accomplishments and having some fun while doing it" said Taylor Hebert the credit unions Sales and Service Manager. Just last year at the MOJOs the entire management team surprised the audience in attendance with a flash mob dance. This of course was not to be outdone by the office Olympics the credit union hosted to coincide with the actual Olympics. Events included drinking straw javelin, paper plate discus, and the overwhelming favorite; desk chair relay races. "GCEFCU is constantly looking for ways to make the workplace both productive and fun" says Linda Lukaszewski the credit unions CEO. We will just have to stay tuned to see what GCEFCU has in store for next years awards dinner. The MOJO awards are an annual awards dinner at which the credit union celebrates their employees accomplishments from the previous year. Areas of recognition include Newcomer of the Year, Member Shopper All Stars (those employees that maintained a level of excellence throughout the year in the credit unions secret shopper program), Sales All Star awards including highest loan portfolio (the credit union had two loan officers with portfolios that exceeded the 10 million dollar mark for the year!), an All Star closer award (the front line employee with the most closed referrals), and an award given to the employees that embody each one of the credit unions six service promises.
