Credit Union Association of the Dakotas Helps Strike Out Hunger

food donations 2Bismarck, ND - On Tuesday, May 10, 2016, the Century High School and Bismarck High School baseball teams battled each other on the field while joining together in the "Strike Out Hunger" game to support the Great Plains Food Bank. Each varsity player and coach obtained a sponsor for the game.� Credit Union Association of the Dakotas proudly sponsored Jake Olson, son of Jeff Olson (CUAD President/CEO) for the event.� Players and coaches wore special "Strike Out Hunger" jerseys at the game.� Through the sale of special event t-shirts and sponsorships, the event raised over $4,000 for the Great Plains Food Bank, which assists local families in need.� People attending the event also donated non-perishable food items, and filled four food drop barrels as shown above.� The $4,000 that was raised plus the donated food is estimated to provide 16,000 meals for area families!
