Credit Union Partners with Utah Jazz and Supports Cancer Foundation

For the fourth year in a row, the Utah Jazz and Mountain America Credit Union of Salt Lake City, UT have partnered with the Huntsman Cancer Foundation to help fight cancer.� Every time a Jazz player makes a three-point shot during the 2012-13 season, Mountain America will donate $50 to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation.� Through this collaborative effort and other contributions, Mountain America has donated more than $100,000 to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation.
Mountain America has been a Huntsman Cancer Foundation donor since 2001. In recognition of the credit unions efforts, two doctors areas and one patient room bear its name "A gift of hope in honor of Mountain America Credit Union."
"The Utah Jazz is honored to once again team up with Mountain America Credit Union to support the Huntsman Cancer Foundation," said Utah Jazz President Randy Rigby. "Because cancer has affected all of us in one way or another, we are thankful for our continued partnership with Mountain America to help fight this terrible disease."
Marshall Paepke, executive vice president and chief administrative officer for Mountain America, said, "Many if not all of our members lives have been impacted by cancer, whether through their own experiences or through family members or friends. Thats why Mountain America is so pleased to once again partner with the Huntsman Cancer Foundation to help facilitate the great work they are doing to find cures and improve peoples lives."
