East River FCU staff enjoy the opportunity to promote healthy money habits for our youth. On April 1st, East River FCU staff embraced the Credit Union Strong theme by wearing fitness apparel and decorating the lobby with the fitness theme. Youth were invited to stop by and go through an obstacle course, get their picture taken in the photo booth, enter a coloring contest and enjoy a healthy treat. East River FCU also made a donation to the St. Thomas Aquinas Elementary School located in Madison. The school recently held a dinner and auction event to raise needed funds. The third grade class auctioned an art piece made by the students and East River FCU matched $250 of the winning bid. "Any investment in our youth is an investment in our future. The credit union proudly supports financial literacy efforts on the local, state and national level," states East River FCU President Mechelle Johnson. Pictures: (Top left going clockwise)
