Midland Empire Chapter of Credit Unions�held its fourth annual Shred-A-Thon at
Big Sky FCU,�and Billings-area residents took advantage of the opportunity, dropping off 7,300 pounds of paper to be shredded. Chapter members said they saw a steady stream of traffic from 9:30 a.m. until they stopped at 2 p.m. While the Shred-A-Thon�is free and open to the public, the group does accept donations, and this year the money they collected (plus an additional donation from the chapter) will be used to build a picnic table shelter in the John H. Dover Memorial Park located in the Billings Heights.
