Catholic Vantage Financial Hosting Credit Report Workshop

Michelle2 (2)Plymouth, Mich. (April 25, 2016) Catholic Vantage Financial (CVF) will host a credit report workshop for the public on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. Michelle Micallef, CVF vice president of lending, will lead the workshop titled "Know Your Credit Know Your Score." The workshop will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the credit unions Plymouth branch located at 8817 Sheldon Road, at the northwest corner of Sheldon and Joy Roads. "When youre applying for credit to purchase a home, lease a car and make other purchases, your credit score can make a difference in approval and financing options," said Emma Teller, CVF vice president of marketing and business development. "Many people are unaware that their credit score can also affect their insurance premiums." During the workshop, Micallef will discuss factors that can affect your credit report, how to get a free report and how to make a dispute. Shell also provide some valuable tips and real strategies that work to help improve your credit score. New borrowers will also find out how to establish credit and get a good rating. Attendees are welcome to bring their personal credit reports and scores to the workshop or ask the credit union to provide when signing up to attend the workshop.
