Durfee High School on Thursday, April 7th. Credit for Life Fairs give Junior class students the opportunity to learn about budgeting and managing credit through a unique hands on experience. Students put themselves in the shoes of their older selves and are asked to create a monthly budget, which they do by visiting different booths that each represent a different aspect of adult life, such as housing, transportation, and groceries to name a few. Once students have their budgets set they bring them to the credit counselors table, which St. Annes employees help staff at every Fair they attend. The credit counselors go over the students budgeting decisions and provide them with guidance regarding their choices. St. Annes employees were happy to participate in B.M.C. Durfees Fair again this year and are looking forward to Dartmouth High Schools Credit for Life Fair next week.
