Elisabeth Bruyere AwardLOWELL, MA Jeanne DArc Credit Union is honored to be one of the 2016 recipients of Ste Jeanne dArc Schools Elisabeth Bruy�re Award. The Award was introduced in 2006 to honor individuals and organizations who are dedicated to serving Lowell and its surrounding communities. At this years award dinner, held on March 31, 2016, Ste Jeanne dArc School recognized their esteemed partners in community banking. Jeanne DArc Credit Union was honored to be awarded alongside Enterprise Bank. "We are extremely honored to receive the Elisabeth Bruy�re Award from our friends at Ste Jeanne dArc School," said Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne DArc Credit Union. "Elisabeth Bruy�re was an important part of the schools history and we are thrilled to be a part of the legacy she left behind." Bruy�re was the founder of the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa whose mission has been a cornerstone in Ste Jeanne dArc Schools staffing, administration and core values for over 100 years. Bruy�re set forth in her own mission to be a provider of education and service in Eastern Canada. Within 30 years, she established many schools, boarding schools, homes for orphans and cared for victims of epidemics. Today, Ste Jeanne dArc School recognizes Bruy�res compassion and accomplishments to inspire their students and pay tribute to leaders in the community whose mission is driven by similar values.
