Michigan Community Credit Union Helps Local Car Owner Pay Off Auto Loan

captureJackson, MI, March 25, 2016 Michigan Community Credit Union was recently honored with a Diamond Award, which recognizes outstanding marketing and business development achievements in the credit union industry. The award was presented by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing & Business Development Council, a national network comprised of over 1,200 credit union marketing and business development professionals. Awards are given in each of 30 categories ranging from advertising to community events and beyond. Michigan Community Credit Union won the Community/PR-One-Time Event Award for their Contact with the Car event. In August of 2015, the Credit Union partnered with Art Moehn Chevrolet, Extreme Dodge, and Seymour Ford for this event. Twelve contestants, who purchased a vehicle at one of the featured dealers, were randomly drawn to participate. The contestants were required to stand, surround, and touch a car. The last standing contestant won up to $20,000.00 to have their auto loan or lease paid off. Award winners were recognized at the councils 23rd annual conference held March 20-23 in Anaheim, California.
