Credit Union raises $2,426 to support community gardens.

community resource For the eighth consecutive year, Community Resource Federal Credit Unions employees and their family members bowled in Capital District Community Gardens Garden Bowl.� This years event was held on Saturday, January 28 at Uncle Sams Lanes in Troy, NY.� Community Resources Wild Things team raised $2,426 to support Community Gardens.� The Wild Things won awards for the second highest fundraising team and the second highest fundraiser, Community Resources Service Associate, Ryan Yanni. 78 people bowled at the event that raised a record $12,435 $4,000 more than in 2012 for Community Gardens community gardening, urban landscaping, veggie mobile, produce project and squash hunger programs. "Were happy that our team raised $1,000 more than last year and that we played a role in raising a record amount for Capital District Community Gardens," said Wendy Meola, Director of Marketing.
