Altura Credit Union Supports Young Academics

Altura Decathlon Volunteers(Riverside, Calif.)� For the seventh consecutive year, a team of employees from Altura Credit Union recently helped young academic athletes in their competition for academic recognition. The employees served as proctors for the Super Quiz portion of the 33rd annual Riverside Academic Decathlon. Students from 19 Riverside County high schools competed for a chance to represent their school at the California Academic Decathlon later this month. The Super Quiz is the only portion of the event open to the public.� Altura volunteers check answers for accuracy and keep score while student teams answer multiple choice questions in a variety of topic areas. Elsinore High won the Super Quiz and West Valley High School was named overall champion, for the second consecutive year, in the event sponsored by the Riverside County Office of Education.
