Army Aviation Center FCU Raises $2,800 for Children's Miracle Network Hospital

Daleville, Ala. (March 10, 2016) ��Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union (AACFCU) raised $2,811 in three days for Childrens Miracle Network and Childrens of Alabama.� AACFCU branches sold paper balloons for $1 and held fundraisers to raise money.� Members and AACFCU employees generously made donations to help children and families who travel to Birmingham to stay at the hospital.
Childrens Miracle Network serves children at more than 170 childrens hospitals nationwide.� Childrens of Alabama has provided specialized medical care for ill and injured children across the state and throughout the southeastern U.S.� Childrens of Alabama is the only medical center in Alabama dedicated solely to the care and treatment of children.
Credit unions are the third largest corporate contributor to Childrens Miracle Network and donate an average of $6 million annually.
