Capital Credit Union is Champion of Affordable Housing

Scott_smallBismarck, N.D. - Scott Bullinger of Capital Credit Union recently received the North Dakota Housing Finance Agencys champion of affordable housing award. Each year, the NDHFA issues the award to financial institutions and other real estate-related entities that have made exceptional contributions to affordable housing in North Dakota. Capital Credit Union and Bullinger were recognized for participation in NDHFAs home ownership program that offers homebuyer education, down payment and closing cost assistance and other programs to help individuals and families achieve home ownership. Bullinger, originally from Mandan, N.D., has been with Capital Credit Union since 2006. Capital Credit Union, originally chartered in North Dakota in 1936, is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by each of its more than 30,000 members and overseen by a member-elected board of directors. Capital Credit Union returns profits to each member through fewer and lower fees, lower loan interest rates and higher savings interest rates. Savings, checking, loan, credit/debit card, and many other financial services and education, are offered by Capital Credit Union to member individuals, businesses and other organizations who are located within a 75-mile radius of Bismarck, Hazen or Fargo, or a 50-mile radius of Beulah or New Salem.
