United Educators Credit Union Foundation Awards Financial Literacy Grants

CaptureApple Valley, MINN. - Six Minnesota schools received financial literacy grants from the United Educators Credit Union Foundation. The schools that received grants were Wayzata High School, Eagan High School, Webster Elementary School, Hale Community School, Maple Lake High School and Falcon Ridge Elementary School of New Prague.� The United Educators Foundation was established in 2008 to generate and provide contributive funding and resources that advance educational initiatives and to support charitable causes within the education communities United Educators Credit Union serves. The Financial Literacy Grant program was created to help ensure that financial education begins at a young age and to support the educators teaching it in their schools.� United Educators Credit Union was established in 1957 and is a member-owned, member-operated, not-for-profit financial institution, providing financial services to the Minnesota education community, their families, and those who support education by being a part of the United Educators Foundation. United Educators Credit Union offers a full line of financial services, and currently operates branch locations in Apple Valley, Coon Rapids, Eden Prairie, and Woodbury.
