Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union Donates $7,000 to Local Nonprofits

Penelope House   Daleville, Ala. In January, Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union (AACFCU) employees donated $7,000 to 16 nonprofit organizations in AACFCU's service areas of Southeast Alabama, Florida's Emerald Coast and the Mobile Bay area. The donations come from an account funded completely by employee contributions in 2015. On designated work days, AACFCU employees donate to this account in exchange for wearing jeans to work.     These organizations include:
  • Alabama Teen Challenge, Ozark, Ala.
  • Boys and Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast, DeFuniak Springs, Fla.
  • Boys and Girls Clubs of Pike, Troy, Ala.
  • Boys and Girls Club of the Wiregrass, Dothan, Ala.
  • Daleville Senior Center, Daleville, Ala.
  • Dog Harmony, Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.
  • Enterprise Christian Mission Enterprise, Ala.
  • Enterprise YMCA, Enterprise, Ala.
  • House of Ruth, Dothan, Ala.
  • Mobile SPCA, Mobile, Ala.
  • Penelope House, Mobile, Ala.
  • Pike Regional Child Advocacy Center, Troy, Ala.
  • SOS Animal Shelter, Enterprise, Ala.
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile, Mobile, Ala.
  • Wiregrass Children's Home, Dothan, Ala.
  • Wiregrass Humane Society, Dothan, Ala.
