We Promise Credit Union Foundation Holding Charitable Fundraiser

Virginia Beach, VA � Got the mid-winter blues?� Heres a fundraiser thats sure to melt away these cold, grey days with bright, sunny images of tropical beaches or lush, rolling vineyards.
The We Promise Foundation (WPF), the charitable arm of Chartway FCU and its divisions of HeritageWest and SouthWest Community, today kicks-off a new fundraising project for 2016: The "Sip or Sizzle" Vacation Raffle.
"Sip Or Sizzle" accurately describes whats at stake the winners choice between a sizzling trip to experience the Caribbean paradise of Montego Bay, Jamaica, or a sipping California Duet & Wine Tour in San Francisco and Sonoma, California.
Heres how to play: raffle tickets are $20 each and only 1,500 will be sold, now through Friday, March, 11, 2016. Tickets are available at all Chartway FCU branches; online at www.chartway.com or www.wepromisefoundation.org; the We Promise Foundation Office (5700 Cleveland Street, Suite 101, Virginia Beach, VA) and links from Chartway social channels, as well.

- Winner need not be present to win. Raffle tickets will be $20 each and sold from February 8, 2016 March 11, 2016.
- Maximum ticket sales will be 1,500 tickets. For each ticket purchased, you have the opportunity to win a vacation package.
- The winner will be able to choose one of the following packages:
- SIP! California Duet & Wine Tour - Blackout dates: Jan 11-14, Feb 4-8, May 22-24, Jun 6-8, Sept 18-22, Oct 2-7, and Dec 31. Some restrictions may apply during special events.
- SIZZLE! A Slice of Caribbean Paradise - this is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort for guests age 18 and above. Travel packages are non-refundable and subject to availability. Certificates/gift cards cannot be replaced. Airport taxes and carrier imposed fees are the responsibility of the passenger. Flights may not be upgraded with miles.
- A minimum 30 day advance reservation is required. Package originates from the Contiguous U.S. Travel and is valid for 12 months from date of issue.
- Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. Pursuant to IRS Tax Code, ticket purchase cannot be deducted as a charitable contribution.
- Taxes are the responsibility of the winner and winner agrees to hold all parties associated with the raffle harmless of all damages, consequential or otherwise, that may occur as a result of winning the prize.
- At the sole discretion of the We Promise Foundation, disqualification, forfeiture and the selection of alternative winners may result from any of the following: (1) potential winners failure to respond to notification within ten (10) days after first attempt to contact (2) The return of any other notice or a prize as undeliverable (3) potential winners failure to validly claim any prize before April 17, 2016; and (4) any other non-compliance with rules.
- In the event of prize forfeiture, We Promise Foundation may, in its sole discretion, award or not award the forfeited prize to an alternate winner. By participating, winner consents to the release of his/her name as the winner of the award, unless such use is prohibited by applicable law.
