Bannockburn (IL) Each year Great Lakes Credit Union (GLCU) is proud to give back to the community and offer help to those who need it most. In 2015, GLCUs employees voted in favor of supporting two charities, On Angels Wings and CU4Kids. Throughout the course of the year, GLCU employees and members raised $10,000 to share with both charities. Monies were raised through GLCUs pledge to contribute $1.00 for each new member who joined the credit union in 2015. Donations were also made by members and employees at branches and community events, such as the Peanuts Movie Benefit Night hosted by the Antioch Theatre.
