Go Red Day 2016FALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS, - St. Annes Credit Union employees were happy to once again take part in National Wear Red Day on Friday, February 5th. Wear Red or "Go Red" Day was started in 2003 by the American Heart Association and the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute to raise awareness and funds to help in the fight against heart disease and stroke in women. Since the two organizations first teamed up to take action against the disease, nearly 300 fewer women die from heart disease and stroke each day. St. Annes Credit Union participates in "Go Red" Day each year by having a casual day for a cause and encouraging the branches and departments to decorate their lobbies to show off their "Go Red" spirit. The Main Office, South End (Fall River) branch, and the Financial, Deposit Operations and Central Files departments all went above and beyond with their decorating to raise awareness. In total St. Annes employees donated $460 for "Go Red" Day, all of which will go to the American Heart Association. Shown in the picture are St. Annes Credit Union employees from the Financial, Deposit Operations and Central Files departments (Top Left), the South End Branch (Bottom Left) and the Main Office (Bottom Right).
